Garibaldi – Knights of the Round (SNES)

Capcom has always been legendary for platformers but their overall market share of beat-em-ups was relatively small. So, choosing a genre that was somewhat unusual for Capcom, they created a Beat Em Up called “Knights of the Round” (after King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table). What gamer would not like it? You get to select the swift and acrobatic Lancelot, the massive and foreboding Percival or the best of both words, Arthur. You beat your way through baddies with names like “Buster S,” “Bird Man,” and even “Fat Man.” In the end, you storm the castle and face this guy… the Gold Emperor Garibaldi. He looks rather ridiculous but if you aren’t careful, he will hand your head to you.
